From Simply a Man to a Glorious Son of God

I am happy to share with you the great and divine experience that has occurred in my life concerning Christ and the church.

When I was a child my parents spoke to me about Jesus and the need to attend church every Sunday. Everything was very traditional and I think my parents felt they were fulfilling one of God's commandments since they would attend church every Sunday morning. When I turned 18 years old, God showed me that I had a great need and that this was to be born again. I could not understand it. I thought I had to do something extraordinary or that I had to go through something extraordinary. This was impossible to me. Later, the Lord Jesus showed me that the birth human beings need is in their human spirit. This matter of the human spirit also was something that had much impact on me because I did not know I had a human spirit. Later, the Lord Jesus showed me that we have three parts: body, soul, and spirit. This all happened in my country of Guatemala.

Later I came to the U.S. and the Lord Jesus showed me more of His plan: to have His Body, the church, which is the desire of His heart. I realized that everything that had happened to me previously was for a purpose. He wants to make me one with Him and to build us with all the believers who are the members of His Body and of His church. I thank the Lord Jesus that through the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee, the Lord Jesus has been able to unveil this truth in the Bible and is recovering His Body, the church. Truly, God has used these Christian brothers to recover the things that had been corrupted and degraded by the different teachings, ideologies, and concepts of man.
